Verigreen Energy & Light Solutions (Verigreen) takes a comprehensive approach to helping our clients "go green" profitably. We provide a robust analysis of each property from an energy, tax and utility perspective. Once an assessment is complete and recommendations for energy conservation are given, clients can choose exactly which measures they would like to have implemented. From a lighting project, to a full energy audit, to becoming your energy department, Verigreen is ready to help.

Verigreen wants to do more than just save our clients money on their energy bills. As capitalists first, environmentalists second, we won't recommend anything that does not make good financial sense to our customers. In fact, it is important to note that we're not interested in replacing the staff you have in place; but instead, we augment your current staff and their capabilities. Verigreen uses proprietary software systems and high-efficiency technologies; and because we are technology and product neutral, you can rest assured that our recommendations will remain in alignment with the best interests of your organization. 

The first step to getting started is quite simple. All we need are copies of your utility bills and any energy contracts you might have in place, plus a brief description of the facility. Once we have that information, the rest is up to us. After our initial analysis, clients receive a high-level report with beneficial information about their property's energy consumption. Once we plug that information into our proprietary database, clients also receive a ranking of their building against the national norms. If we are doing analysis on several properties, a property comparison showing the best and worst performers can also be seen. And when a property requires a full energy audit, clients receive many other useful and detailed reports, graphs, and thermal images that pinpoint opportunities to improve the integrity of the facility envelope and other mechanical and subsystem components. Our software has been verified by the DOE and is a certified Energy Star software platform.

Performance-Based Approach to Compensation

Verigreen is a performance-based company and we expect to achieve significant energy savings for our clients. Our ECM Services will generate a pre-determined amount of energy and operational cost savings for a client and our compensation is tied directly to what we achieve. In essence, we are fully aligned with the best interests of our clients because we are paid ONLY if we achieve results. We are flexible in how we structure performance-based compensation and we have used the following methods predominantly in the past:

1. Flat Management Fee - Verigreen will receive a fixed percentage of the total energy burden managed for a client and will return management fees received if performance levels are not achieved.
2. Percentage of Savings Generated - Verigreen will receive a percentage of energy/operational costs savings generated by executing the energy conservation plan on behalf of the client.
3. Professional Fees charged for services rendered such as energy audits, retro-commissioning, monitoring energy management systems, processing incentives/rebates, portfolio energy management and analysis, etc.
