Utility Bill Audits

Verigreen Energy & Light Solutions (Verigreen) provides an advanced diagnosis of your utility bills that includes:

  • Data Development – Each property on the ECM platform has a unique database developed that allows for utility trend analysis and benchmarking.
  • Data Analysis & Intelligence – Certified Energy Managers and our proprietary, Energy Star-certified software platform turn raw data into building intelligence. A variety of reports are provided monthly for each property:
    • Utility Billing Errors – identifies duplicate bills, erroneous charges and if you are simply paying too much.
    • Threshold violations – alerts you if your bills increase a percentage higher over the determined threshold year over year, taking into account normalization for weather, billing days and other factors. A true "apples to apples" comparison is achieved.
    • Facility Outliers – identifies which facilities are out of energy usage norms for the property type, location, number of employees and other factors.
    • Measurement & Verification – provides both the economic and environmental impact of our recommendations, as well as the ongoing tracking of energy savings and carbon footprint/greenhouse gas emission reductions from initiatives.

Energy Conservation Plan & Implementation

Verigreen provides a detailed plan for how to move forward with your energy conservation measures. Each energy conservation plan is customized to your facility so that it will provide optimal performance and save you money. Greenhouse Gas & Carbon Footprint Reporting

Commercial property owners will soon be required to report their levels of GHG and overall carbon footprint. We can have your building rated based on its energy use and our reports will indicate whether or not you are above or below the norm. Our reports will even translate the energy profile of the building into acres of trees saved and cars removed from the road, as well as other environmental aspects that will show your commitment to good corporate governance.
