The ECM Process

Verigreen Energy & Light Solutions follows a methodical and proven process for improving the energy efficiency and performance of facilities.  Each step in the ECM process provides valuable insights that help to optimize energy efficiency while avoiding duplication of effort and costs. For example, if a client has already paid for an energy audit in the past, our team will use the information from the prior audit to reduce project time and cost.

Our process includes the following 6 steps:

  1. Diagnose and verify facility performance through various audits and analysis - utility, energy, lighting, onsite inspection
  2. Generate an Energy Conservation Plan (ECP) that will achieve the client's specific objectives - plans will highlight specific recommendations to implement and the estimated economic and environmental impact of each recommendation
  3. Provide financial options to initiate the ECP
  4. Implement the ECP and manage project/vendors allows clients to focus on their core business competence while we improve the energy and performance of their facilities
  5. Measure and verify the ECP and ensure that it is achieving desired energy savings and environmental metrics
  6. Identify and process available incentives and rebates
